Thank you for your very thorough response. I suspected reliability was the difference, and that is essential for me. I experienced satisfaction with "The Stick" which has now been installed for months. I'll just wanted to let you know how it works.

I am taking time to let you know that I could not have been more pleased with that discussion. It was what I wish all tech support would be. The level of understanding of your product was at the highest level. The person was knowledgeable, patient, and did everything to help me get this working, which it now is. We have a client who has a fax line, and wanted to also use that same line to dial into their computer using pcAnywhere. The Stick has accomplished this goal. Thanks for making it all possible. We’ll be using more Sticks for our customers in the future.

Thanks again for the information and a great product. You have been very helpful. We surveyed our locations and are determined to consolidate lines. The Stick has helped us achieve our goal and made our phone system much more economical without sacrificing anything. The phone system is actually better because we don’t get busy signals anymore. We'll place an order for one unit a month until we have the 15 total units that we will need.

I used to have 3 phone lines – One with DSL for voice and computer (with occasional dialup when the DSL goes out), one with voice for my daughter (with occasional dialup when the DSL goes out or the wireless router to her computer loses it), and one for my fax machine.

I moved and cut it down to 2 lines. The “stick” has no problem switching fax calls on the number with DSL to either my computer (with Winfax) or to my stand alone fax machine. I receive faxes on my fax machine and send them through Winfax. With the stick two lines are better than three. Go figure.

I already have "The STICK" but have lost the manual that tells me how to program it. I've found on the internet your site that has a PDF manual for the original STICK.

I've now reprogrammed my Stick to perfection. Thanks for having the Stick Manual online. Your service is as good as your product (excellent).

I purchased the stick and it is connected to 4 phones, 1 answering machine, 1 fax, 1 modem, and everything works including the caller ID.

I use The Stick is to isolate all incoming fax calls.
Basically, I have a phone line, which was used previously as a fax line. But now I am using this phone line strictly as a voice line.

Every time when there is an incoming call, 80% of the time it is a fax tone, which irritates us very much. Most of the time it is junk faxes which is a waste of toner and paper. Therefore, I installed the device where the voice (port 1) in plugged in and the fax (port 2) is not. I plugged in analog phones.

When there is an incoming call,
- If it is a human calling, it will route it to the voice port.
- If it is a fax tone, it will route to the fax port where there is nothing plugged in. Then fax document will never be faxed over to the phone line.

The Stick is very good. This is for personal home use and a fax. Looks like I won’t have to buy the two lines after all. The Stick saved me over $400 just this year.
