We used a switch ("Fax Line Manager") for the past 10 years or so, and it correctly discerned an incoming fax approximately 80% of the time. The other 20% we have to turn modem off to receive faxes. When it went out this last year I upgraded to The Stick and I am so pleased that I did.
The Stick sends the calls to the proper device every time just like you say. I've had it six months now and so far it's been 100% correct every time. I really didn't think it would work perfectly but the Stick does what it is supposed to do to my surprise
I wish I had known about it ten years ago before I bought the other one. It would have saved me 10 years of trouble with my fax and modem.
Thank you for making old fashioned quality in a world where everyone talks about it but nobody seems to follow through on what they say anymore. You do what you say.
